Dr. Kathrine Pierandozzi is an educational leader, consultant, and coach with more than three decades of experience helping individuals, teams, and organizations navigate complex challenges. Throughout her career in school leadership, special education, and organizational development, she has focused on helping people find clarity, stability, and purposeful action , even during moments of uncertainty or stress.
The concept behind Find Your 5 began not in a boardroom, but at home. As a parent, Dr. Pierandozzi taught her children a simple way to think about life's emotional highs and lows: imagine life on a scale from 1 to 10. The goal is not to live at the extremes, but to recognize when emotions rise to a 10 or fall to a 2, and then learn how to return to a steady, thoughtful place , their 5, where balance, perspective, and rational thinking are possible.

This idea of building awareness and offering support was shaped by a deep personal experience in Dr. Pierandozzi's own life. After navigating a very difficult and harsh lived experience, she reflected on how powerful it would have been to have learned these self-regulation and awareness skills earlier in life. That realization became the foundation for Find Your 5.
Today, through coaching, podcasts, publications, and practical tools, Dr. Pierandozzi's mission is to cultivate awareness across all ages and backgrounds. The Find Your 5 approach empowers individuals to identify where they are on life's scale, pause with purpose, reframe their perspective, and return to a place of clarity and balance so they can move forward with intention.
